Garlic Parsley Dipping Oil

This is so good you'll make it again and again. I used Fustini's Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil for this recipe, but you could certainly create your own. The garlic is very important to the overall flavor, so don't leave it out. I hope you'll make this tonight. It's sooooooo good!

Garlic Parsley Dipping Oil

4 T Fustini's Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/3 C loosely packed and coarsely chopped Italian leaf parsley
1 thin green onion, white and green parts rough chopped
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
salt to taste

Put the parsley and green onion into a food processor or blender. Pulse until finely chopped. Add the chopped greens to the oil along with the lemon juice, red pepper flakes and salt. Serve with bread.

If you want to try Fustini's vinegars and oils, you'll can find them by clicking on http://www.fustinis.com/

Yummy! This will go great with the lemon pesto linguine with asparagus.

Hello Tracy!

Welcome!!! I hope you'll try this recipe. I've found the Fustini's Olive Oil is an important ingredient. If you don't use it, try to find or make an oil with a lot of garlic flavor.

Let me know what you think... :)

It does sound delicious. So if I made it with virgin olive oil and garlic it wouldn't be as good?

I've just checked the site and see that the garlic olive oil comes from Tunisia - I'll probably find it somewhere in France - Great!!

Hello Anji!!

I'm so impressed... you tracked down the olive oil! I hope you can find it where you live.

And yes, the recipe is delicious. I have made it without the Fustini's Garlic Olive Oil, but it wasn't as good. I'm thinking I need to add more garlic to my oil if I try it again.

Anyway, I'm going to send your comment to Fustini's and see what they have to say about the oil and finding it in France. Check back if you can.

Wonderful to hear from you... :-)

Hi Anji,

I wanted you to know that I did email Fustini's, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I'll let you know if I do. Until then... :-)
